Official registered business name: Desktop Lagoonhub Mining Review Co.

Established: 2018

Our History

Desktop Lagoonhub Mining Review began in 2018 when two former industrial electrical technicians in Pohang started documenting hash rate variance across ASIC batches arriving at local dedicated mining suites. Operators were buying units rated at 0.05 computing power and above without independent verification. We built a small test bench, published plain-language comparison notes, and word spread among suite managers along the Gyeongsang coast.

By 2020 we added on-site suite assessments. Our office at Office 9, 24 Placeholder-ro handles procurement advisory calls, benchmark scheduling, and report distribution. We remain a review and planning practice — we do not sell hardware, operate mining pools, or manage client hash output.

What We Do

We visit dedicated mining suites, run controlled benchmarks, and write reports operators can hand to procurement teams. Our work covers throughput-focused equipment at 0.05 computing power and higher: ASIC miners, high-density GPU racks, power distribution, and the cooling infrastructure that keeps them running at rated output.

Our Team

Han Seok-jin — Lead assessor. Fifteen years in industrial HVAC and electrical fit-out before focusing on mining suite thermal loads.

Park Yuna — Benchmark technician. Maintains our controlled test environment and calibrates power meters against national standards.

Kim Dae-hyun — Procurement advisor. Tracks vendor shipment batches and documents firmware revision impacts on delivered hash rate.

Working Approach

We arrive with calibrated meters, photograph rack positions, and record ambient intake temperatures before touching equipment. Reports include measured hash per kilowatt-hour, noted firmware versions, fan noise readings, and a plain recommendation: keep, retune, replace, or relocate. We do not accept commissions from hardware vendors. Review samples are either purchased outright or loaned with documented return terms.

Relationship to Clients

Most clients are suite operators running 20 to 200 units in warehouse or industrial conversions. Some are investors commissioning new suites who need an independent baseline before signing equipment contracts. We answer technical questions by email and phone during business hours and schedule on-site work within the Gyeongsang region; remote report reviews are available for suites elsewhere in South Korea.
