Refund Policy

Effective date: 1 January 2026

This policy covers fees paid to Desktop Lagoonhub Mining Review Co. for review, assessment, benchmark, advisory, and maintenance services. We do not sell hardware through this website.

General Principles

Service fees compensate for scheduled labour, calibrated equipment use, and report production. Refund eligibility depends on service type and cancellation timing.

Suite Throughput Assessment & On-Site Surveys

Cancellation 7+ days before visit: Full refund of deposit
Cancellation 3–6 days before visit: 50% deposit retained; remainder refunded
Cancellation within 48 hours: Deposit retained; no refund unless we reschedule at our convenience
We cancel: Full refund including deposit
After visit completed: No refund; report delivery constitutes service completion

If on-site access is denied or unsafe conditions prevent testing, we bill a partial visit fee (50% of quoted on-site rate) and refund the balance.

Benchmark Reporting Package

Before units arrive at bench: Full refund minus ₩15,000 administrative fee per reserved slot
Units received, testing not started: 70% refund
Testing started: No refund
Units damaged in transit to our bench: No refund for testing; damage documentation provided

Procurement Advisory

Before research begins: Full refund
After memo delivery: No refund
We fail to deliver within agreed window: Full refund or prorated refund for incomplete sections

Maintenance Contracts

Quarterly contracts: Cancel with 30 days written notice; unused prepaid quarters refunded pro-rata
Semi-annual visits: Cancellation before first scheduled visit refunds prepaid amount minus ₩20,000 administrative fee
Missed client access: Visit rescheduled once at no charge; second missed window counts as completed visit

Deposits

Deposits secure calendar dates and bench slots. Non-refundable portions are stated in your quote confirmation email.

Non-Refundable Items

Travel surcharges for completed trips
Rush benchmark surcharges after testing begins
Third-party courier costs for unit shipment to our bench
Reports already delivered in PDF form

Refund Process

Email info@desktop-lagoonhub.click with invoice number and reason. Approved refunds process within 14 business days to the original bank account. International transfers may require additional processing time.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule per booking if requested 5+ days before the scheduled date. Additional reschedules may incur ₩25,000 administrative fee.

No-Shows

Client no-show at confirmed on-site time without prior notice: deposit forfeited. We attempt phone contact for 30 minutes before declaring no-show.
